Registration Required for Presenters

All accepted presenters are required to confirm their acceptance and register for the conference by January 25, 2022. Accepted presenters include the author and co-authors from the submissions process. Presenters are guaranteed the Pac Rim 2021 early bird rate of $295 when registering by January 25, 2022. 

Presenter Commitment to Participate

As a professional courtesy, presenters are asked to honor a Commitment to Participate as conference attendees by attending other conference sessions. This commitment celebrates a positive, interactive environment and promotes networks to mobilize together for meaningful action. 

Letter of Acceptance

You will receive a letter of acceptance for your presentation by January 4, 2022 if your presentation is accepted for the conference. If you plan to attend the conference in Hawaiʻi (to be in the same time zone) and require an additional letter for your travel or to obtain a visa, please contact prreg@hawaii.edu. Please note that we will not be sponsoring your visa, and you will be responsible for all fees for visa and travel.   

Proposal Cancellation Policy 

A proposal or presentation can be cancelled in your online account by January 25, 2022 (the same day as the registration deadline for presenters). This will ensure our program will be available for everyone in a timely manner. Please view Registration Cancellation Policy.

Review Timeline 

Proposals will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. The review of the proposal may take up to 5 weeks. Please check your online account for the progress of your submission.

Conference Proceedings

In order to have your proposal published in the conference proceeding, all authors must present at Pac Rim 2022. The conference proceedings are published in the Review of Disability Studies: An International Journal. As thus, the publication process will be processed through the journal online management system. Learn More: Pac Rim Conference Proceedings 2022.
