About the Call for Proposals

Pac Rim 2021 Session Types

We have four different session types: (1) Paper, (2) Talk Story, (3) Skill Share, and (4) Poster. 

Submissions will Open Soon

Proposed presenters may start gathering the necessary information so they are ready to go when the proposal submissions open: 

  • Topic area (choose one of 8)
  • Session type (choose one of 4)
  • Abstract that answers to the criteria outlined under the specific session type (500 words max)
  • Presenter information (name, contact info, social media handles, time zone presenting from, etc.)
  • Bio write ups for each presenter that highlight their expertise/leadership/innovation (250 words max for each presenter)
  • Accommodation requests needed to present
  • Clear headshot professional photo of each presenter

All accepted presenters are required to register for the conference. As a professional courtesy, presenters are asked to honor a commitment to participate as conference attendees by attending other conference presentation sessions. This commitment celebrates a positive, interactive environment and promotes networks to build community. Accepted presenters are required to provide safe and accessible content for all attendees. Training and guidance resources will be provided.
