Frequently Asked Questions
I am currently in the data analysis stage of my PhD project. Thus, I only have preliminary results. To what extent does your publication decision depend on reporting complete results?
Similar to your conference presentation, conference proceedings are generally seen as publications that reflect the presentation you presented at the conference. If you presented on your preliminary results then that will be more than sufficient for the publication. Conference proceedings will give you an opportunity to elaborate more on your interaction with other presenters or attendees that have had an impact on your research.
You state a maximum article length of 7,500 words. Is this also the envisioned article length or are shorter articles possible?
You are welcome to submit articles that are shorter. It takes much more time and effort to review and copy edit articles that are longer than than 7,500 words. Setting the maximum length of 7,500 words will allow the committee to publish the conference proceedings in a timely manner.
